Purpose

The Accessibility is committed to ensuring that our programs, services and activities are accessible to all.

Charge (Mission & Values)

The mission of the Accessibility Committee is to establish standards of a college wide policy to ensure compliance with the 2017 Board of Regents policy and any and all applicable federal and state laws governing access by an individual with a disability to information and communication technology at Western Nevada College.

Committee Goals

• Develop institutional policies and procedures to comply with Board of Regents policy.
• Establish a process for auditing college resources, services, course content etc. for accessibility compliance.
• Identify educational training opportunities for faculty and staff about resources available to ensure accessible content.
