WNC Continuing Education offers classes in Carson City, Fallon and online, open to any member of the community (no application required!). We provide opportunities to learn new skills, advance your career and better your life in a low-pressure, encouraging environment.

Professional certifications in as little as 5 weeks. Many classes are available in an online, self-paced format, so no waiting for a new semester to start! Many of our students qualify for financial assistance without having to complete the FAFSA.

Learn something new, connect with your community, and enrich your life. From screenwriting to ukulele, there's something for everyone, and classes cost as little as $29. In-person and online options!
Professional Development
Get the CEUs and professional skills you need to take your career to the next level. Many courses are online and can be completed in 24 hours or less. Customized training for businesses and organizations is available!
Commercial Driver's License
Our CDL prep course is 3-5 weeks long. Classes are never more than 6 students at a time, and we offer quality equipment, on-site testing, and scholarships for over 90% of our students.
Motorcycle Safety
Western Nevada College offers motorcycle courses in Carson City for riders of all skill levels. Get your M-class endorsement or enhance your skills. Classes are offered most weekends from March-November.
IT Boot Camps
Prepare for in-demand IT careers with online training. Our IT boot camps cover topics from data analysis to ethical hacking, and will help you obtain the skills and credentials you need for some of the highest-paying jobs on the market.
Continuing Education classes do not offer credits towards the completion of an associate or bachelors degree. Certifications and certificates of completion are designed to promote career advancement and personal growth.
