Participants of voluntary PEBP LTD

Academic and administrative faculty who have selected the PEBP voluntary group LTD plan, should evaluate their participation.  The PEBP vendor, The Standard Insurance, requires thirty (30) days’ notice to discontinue enrollment. Employees who would like to cancel their PEBP plan, can do so through the E-PEBP Portal or by calling 775-249-0716.

Both plans offer similar coverage. For a detailed comparison or questions about these plans contact BCNBenefits@unr.edu.

For those employees that have selected the PEBP offered LTD plan, we recommend you evaluate your participation. Reference the LTD comparison.

Faculty enrolled in the PEBP voluntary group LTD plan prior to 1/1/24, pre-existing conditions would not apply. This would be viewed as a carrier change.
