B2S is a program intended to help high school seniors make a successful transition to WNC.  We understand that attending college is a new and unknown experience, so college advisors visit area schools to guide students through the steps to attend WNC.

During high school visits, our advisors will help you:

  1. Apply to Western Nevada College
  2. Attend a New Student Orientation
  3. Attend a Financial Aid/Scholarship Workshop
  4. Take Accuplacer Assessment or Submit Eligible ACT/SAT Scores
  5. Meet with a WNC Counselor and Register for Classes

Bridge to Success Program Goals:

  • Increase educational expectations for participating students
  • Increase student and parent knowledge of postsecondary education options including: application process, financial aid opportunities, placement tests, scheduling, and class selection
