Instructor, Advanced Manufacturing

The Instructor of Advanced Manufacturing provides high-quality instruction in advanced manufacturing, chemical operations; and related technical fields to support the region's workforce needs. This position develops and delivers hands-on, industry-aligned curriculum; ensures safe and effective operation of laboratory learning environments; collaborates with employers, secondary partners, and workforce programs; and contributes to the continuous improvement of WNC's advanced manufacturing programs.   Instruction will initially occur at the Carson Campus, with a transition to the Fernley Advanced Manufacturing satellite campus once it is operational, and may also include occasional teaching at partner high school locations.

Digital Content Producer

Serves as the primary administrator and content manager for the Western Nevada College website and associated digital platforms (including subsites, portals, social media, and other online activities). Performs essential strategic, programming, and web design functions to ensure the College’s website and online presence advance the College’s communications, marketing, and PR objectives. Director of Financial Assistance

Reporting to the Executive Director of Student Services, the Director of Financial Assistance is an Administrative Faculty position at Western Nevada College. This role ensures the College’s compliance with all federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and the college’s ability to maintain administrative capability for participation in Title IV programs. The Director is responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing student-centered goals and programs that align with the College’s mission and Strategic Plan. The position oversees a dedicated Financial Assistance team consisting of four professional staff, one classified employee, and three student workers.

The Outreach and Instruction Librarian plays a key role in supporting student success by designing and delivering information literacy instruction, collaborating with teaching faculty, and leading outreach that promotes library services across campus. Custodial Worker 1 - Facilities Management & Planning

Western Nevada College is recruiting for a Custodial Worker 1 in the Facilities Management & Planning department in Carson City, NV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning restrooms, floors, stairwells, carpets, equipment, and chalk/whiteboards; emptying trash cans; stocking paper towels, toilet paper, and soap; wiping/disinfecting surfaces; assembling furniture; executing event setup and take-down, snow removal, and building security; maintaining custodial supplies; and other duties as assigned.  ​

The Learning Management System Administrator is an essential member of the Instructional Innovation Team and is responsible for operational oversight of the College Learning Management System (LMS) and in supporting outstanding online education at Western Nevada College. Maintenance Repair Specialist 1 - Plumbing, Roofing, & Electrical

Western Nevada College is recruiting for a Maintenance Repair Specialist 1. The ideal candidate is responsible for interpreting blueprints, schematics and local building codes to perform maintenance and repair projects. This position will repair, construct, and maintain buildings, grounds and equipment, plan, layout and initiate cost estimates for projects; coordinate with outside vendors to bid parts and receive cost estimates. Other duties include maintenance and repair for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. This position also provides maintenance and testing of all backflow devices, maintaining plumbing fixtures and water heaters, repairing existing fixtures, toilets, urinals, sinks, and drinking fountains and the opening of clogged drains. This position must follow the International Building Code (IBC) and Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) as well as state and local code requirements. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the roofing of buildings, performing carpentry, and electrical installations, and other duties as assigned.
