Coral Lopez
Coral Lopez was first hired at Western Nevada College in 2010 and has served in many roles during her tenure. Starting out as the Senior Accountant, she quickly worked her way up in Assistant Controller and Controller roles and now serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Business Officer for the college. This role oversees the finance and auxiliary functions of the college and includes the budget office, controller’s office, contract processing and auxiliary services (bookstore, vending, café and the child development center).

Coral grew up in Southern California and graduated with an accounting degree from California State University, Long Beach. After college, she worked as an auditor at one of the Big 4 accounting firms, Ernst & Young, and worked on public clients such as Warner Bros., Isuzu Motors and various manufacturing clients.  Coral is a Nevada Certified Public Accountant and continued her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2017.  Outside of work, Coral loves to travel and go camping with her husband and son.
