Western Nevada College students, faculty, and staff proudly carried on a tradition
that dates back to 1938 by participating in the Nevada Day Parade on Saturday, Nov.

This contingent represented WNC with spirit, pride and community. Nursing students,
student governement, and, of course, Willy represented the college.
Along the parade route and festivities, President Dalpe was pleased to connect with
University of Nevada, Reno President Brian Sandoval, highlighting the strong partnerships
                     across Nevada’s higher education system.
He was also proud to see members of the WNC Foundation Board — Lupe Ramirez, Cliff
Sorensen and Kevin Maillet — showing their support.
Nevada Builders Alliance hosted WNC at the Nevada Day Breakfast and fundraising on
                     behalf of education.
