Students who are sending transcripts to colleges within the Nevada System of Higher Education (UNR, UNLV, TMCC, GBC, CSN, NSC) are not charged a fee to send an electronic transcript.

Learn More about TranscriptsHow do I get my credits evaluated for transfer?
Degree/certificate seeking students need to have official copies of transcripts from other schools, and/or from testing or other training sources, sent directly to WNC Admissions and Records. They also need to submit a Petition for Transfer Credit Evaluation form.
Allow up to 4-6 weeks for the evaluation to be processed after transcripts are received. When a transfer credit evaluation is completed, an email will be sent to the student, who will be able to view their transfer credit in myWNC and run a degree audit report to determine how transfer credits apply toward their intended degree or certificate program.
What are prerequisites and how do they affect class registration?
A prerequisite is a condition of enrollment that a student is required to meet in order to demonstrate readiness for enrollment in a course or program. A prerequisite course must be completed successfully to enroll in the course which follows.
Students currently enrolled at WNC in a class that fulfills a prerequisite may enroll in the subsequent class. If the prerequisite class is not successfully completed, the student may be dropped from the subsequent class that required the prerequisite.
Students should check the Course Catalog to ensure they have met the prerequisites for the classes they intend to enroll in; it is the students responsibility to ensure that prerequisites are met.
