Community Invited to Stair Climb Challenge on 9-11

Climb the stairs in WNC's Cedar Building on Monday, Sept. 11, to pay tribute the lives lost in the attacks of the World Trace Center 22 years ago.
Veterans, first responders, the community and Western Nevada College faculty and staff are invited to participate in WNC Veterans Resource Center’s Stair Climb Challenge on Monday to commemorate the courageous acts of first responders and veterans on Sept. 11, 2001.
The event starts at 9 a.m. outside the Cedar Building on the Carson City campus. Wildcat Vets are planning to climb 2,200 stairs!
Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
In the days leading up to the event, veteran students and Veterans Resource Center Coordinator John Jacobson planted American flags along the Carson City campus walkways as a tribute to those who lost their lives during the attacks on the World Trade Center 22 years ago.
