Brighten Your Summer by Taking Classes Starting on June 8

Looking to keep your degree and certification training on schedule or perhaps expedite it, then Western Nevada College’s Summer Session is for you.

Summer Session also offers special interest classes that brighten the hot summer months.

“Summer provides a unique opportunity for students to continue building momentum toward their educational goals while enjoying the flexibility that the season offers,” said Western Nevada College President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. “Whether students are completing degree requirements, exploring a new field of study, or returning to the classroom to gain new skills, summer learning helps keep minds engaged and futures moving forward. We encourage students and community members alike to take advantage of the many opportunities available at WNC this summer.”

Classes begin on Monday, June 8, so don’t wait until the day of to lock them in! The last day to add a full-term class through myWNC is June 10; after this date, a late registration form must be submitted to Admissions and Records.

Among the course offerings are Accounting, American Sign Language, Art, Biology, Communication, Construction, Early Childhood Education, Geography, Introduction to Information Systems, Intermediate Algebra, Algebra, Precalculus and Management.

Summer session concludes on Aug. 1. Fall semester starts on Aug. 31 so don’t delay on registering for classes that you need for prefer.
