Testing check-in for students begins at 8:45 a.m. in the Cedar Building Room 320C on WNC’s Carson City campus.
“The TEAS exam is an important milestone for students pursuing nursing, and we encourage applicants to take advantage of these early testing dates,” said WNC Nursing and Allied Health Director Dr. Audrey Auer. “Planning ahead allows students to stay on track for Fall 2026 admission while ensuring they are well prepared for the academic rigor of our program. Our goal is to support aspiring nurses every step of the way as they begin this rewarding career.”
To register for the TEAS test, students must first create an account with ATI testing at https://www.atitesting.com. Once their account has been set up, they need to select the in‑person testing option proctored by an institution and choose Western Nevada College as their school.
Available testing dates will then appear, and the student can select their desired date.
Students must complete the entrance exam no later than April 1, 2026, to be considered for admissions into the Fall 2026 Nursing program.
“Western Nevada College is committed to preparing the next generation of nurses who will serve our communities with skill, compassion and confidence,” WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe said. “By offering early testing opportunities and a clear pathway into our Nursing program, we are helping students take an important first step toward meaningful, in-demand careers — close to home and rooted in service.”
