One of the area's top golf events of the fall is nearly here: WNC Foundation's Golf for Education. The 18-hole team scramble is set for Friday, Sept. 29, at Toiyabe Golf Club.

The 24th annual tournament supports workforce development in the region and gives members of the community the opportunity to help students with financial need earn the certifications essential to acquiring meaningful employment and support Nevada's growing economy. 

The tournament has reached capacity for team entries, but businesses and community members can still donate by visiting https://wnc.edu/foundation/golf-for-education.php
