The Child Development Center at Western Nevada College hosted its annual Trike-A-Thon fundraiser on Friday, March 24, to support the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in helping children fight cancer.

Children in different age groups took turns on the track in the CDC parking lot and completed as many loops as they could.

With this support, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, and it increases the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
