Today is the deadline for students to apply for the national climate conference scheduled forJuly 18-22 in Washington, D.C.
This amazing educational opportunity is being presented by Carson City chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby from scholarship funding through WNC Foundation.
Answer the following three questions and provide a resumé (if you have one) and submit it to the Foundation Office (Bristlecone 146) or email it to foundation@wnc.edu.

Today, WNC's HIST 111 class had a special session with Hope Sullivan, Community Development Director for Carson City, diving deep into City zoning, development, and planning! Thank you to Professor John Duerk for hosting such an informative session. Understanding our city's growth and future plans is crucial for our students' civic engagement and academic growth.

Students who will be new to WNC can begin registering for Summer session and Fall semester classes today.

Students can make an advising appointment at wnc.edu/advising, or by phoning 775-445-3267 (Carson City) or 775-445-3379 (Fallon).
New students should also apply for WNC Foundation scholarships at wnc.edu/scholarships. Students are eligible for 250 scholarships with one application and can receive more than one scholarship.

In March, we celebrated Regents’ Scholar Award recipient Dru MacKay for exemplary academic success and his unselfishness in helping other students and his community. The Board of Regents also recognized our latest group of tenured faculty members. WNC even had its day at the Nevada Legislature!
NV Energy donated $50K to our Construction Project Management program and Chick-fil-A hosted a Nursing fundraiser where it shared some of its sales revenue from that evening.
There is a lot to look forward in the coming months with Summer and Fall registration starting this week, Commencement and Pinning ceremonies in May, and the Foundation’s Reach for the Stars Fire & Ice Gala fundraiser in August.
