For those who don’t want a holiday break in their higher education journey, Western Nevada College has options to keep your degree pursuits rolling.

Whether you're catching up, exploring new topics or fast-tracking your degree, Western has options to suit your schedule. WNC is offering six online accelerated classes during its Winter Session.

“Winter Session gives students a valuable opportunity to stay on track — or even get ahead — in their academic goals,” said WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. “These short, focused courses are designed to fit into busy holiday schedules while still delivering the high-quality education WNC is known for. I encourage students to take advantage of this chance to keep their momentum going into the new year.”

Five-week accelerated courses began on Dec. 15,  but three-week accelerated classes will commence on Dec. 29 and conclude Jan. 16.

Available courses are History 290: The Roaring '20s and Introduction to Information Systems 101.
