Tesla START Students Honored for Finishing Nine Classes during One Semester!

Western Nevada College and Tesla recognized a group of 21 Tesla START students on May 13 for completing a rigorous training program.

For spring semester, these dedicated learners completed the equivalent of 25 college credits (nine classes) in 16 weeks — a remarkable achievement!

Course completion certificate recipients were Jonathan Adame, Chelcee Albright, Christian Alvarado, Kaidence Barker, Andry James Caguiat, Brandon Egbert, Vince Fauver, Owen Raymond Fens, Julia Gallegos, Cesar Garcia Jr, Zaid Abdullah Ligingston, Noah McCusker, Jesse Padratzik, Connor Page, Jan Puspos, Fatima Sierra Ruiz, Monica G Salazar, Wood Semexant, Leej (Lily) Nighthawk Smith, Luis Valenzuela and Nathan W Emer Y.

The honorees were from two cohorts that were celebrated in Carson Nugget Hall with family and friends in attendance. In addition to their certificates, they received food and refreshments.

Their hard work, persistence and passion for advanced manufacturing shine brightly, and WNC is proud to support their next steps in Nevada’s high-tech workforce.
