At a free financial workshop on Feb. 10, WNC students can learn how to build a budget that actually works, understand banking services and credit and develop smart financial habits for long-term success.

Managing your money now can shape your future for years to come. The ROADS Program invites students to attend a Tuesday, Feb. 10 Financial Literacy for Student Success Workshop — an essential presentation designed to help students take control of your finances and plan with confidence.
Learn how to build a budget that actually works. Understand banking services and credit. Develop smart financial habits for long-term success.
The workshop will be led by Brook Sweeting, Senior Market Development Manager with United Federal Credit Union, who will share real-world insights students need before entering the workforce.
The workshop runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in The Link: Community, Career & Employment Center, located in the Aspen Building on the Carson City campus.
