WNC Undergrads to Present Research Work on Tuesday, June 27

Jun 16, 2023

Their scientific research has been completed and now it’s time for Western Nevada College undergraduate students to share what they’ve learned.

Through the IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence program, students conducted paid research with the assistance of Western’s biology professors.

Their research work will be displayed on Tuesday, June 27, outside of Room 212 on the second floor of the Aspen Building. Students will deliver presentations about their research work from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday at this location. The public is invited.

Seventeen WNC students have participate in three research projects this year.

INBRE funds undergraduate research opportunities, providing students access to research labs and giving them critical hands-on research experience. These experiences can inspire and lead students into research careers.
