Foundation Scholarship Application Is Open
Jan 7, 2026

Students shouldn't hesitate to apply for scholarship funding through WNC Foundation. Apply as soon as possible and no later than April 1.
The Western Nevada College Foundation has opened its 2026-27 scholarship application, offering students an opportunity to receive financial support for their educational journey at WNC.
Each year, the WNC Foundation awards more than 250 scholarships, distributing over $800,000 to students across a wide range of academic programs and fields of study. The scholarships are available to new, returning, part-time and full-time students, and many recipients qualify for more than one award through a single application.
The application process is designed to be simple and efficient, allowing students to be matched with multiple scholarships by completing one online form. While completing the application, students are encouraged to devote time to their personal statement, which plays an important role in the selection process.
Applications are being accepted through April 1, with scholarship awarding beginning in late April and continuing into early May. To help students navigate the process, the WNC Foundation will host upcoming support events, including Taco ’Bout Scholarships on Jan. 26 and Donut Forget to Apply on March 24.
Students can apply online at wnc.edu/scholarships or wnc.awardspring.com. For questions or assistance, students may contact the WNC Foundation at 775-445-4261 or email elizabeth.bennett-doran@wnc.edu.
