The importance, interest and enthusiasm for early childhood education resonated at a conference hosted by Western Nevada College in late October.

Nearly 100 people attended the Still Better Together Early Childhood Fall Conference presented by the Carson Douglas Early Childhood Advisory Council and WNC in the Aspen and Bristlecone buildings.

Attendees included local child care providers and Carson High School students, as well as vendors. The conference was dedicated to educational training, resource sharing and creating connections.

“Thank you to all who helped and attended,” said WNC Child Development Center Director Anna Lisa Acosta-Rogers.
