For CORE Construction, building stronger communities begins with investing in education.

The company is helping create new opportunities for Western Nevada College students as a major sponsor of the Western Nevada College Foundation's ninth annual Reach for the Stars Gala: Moonlight Masquerade, taking place Saturday, Aug. 8, in Joe Dini Library on WNC's Carson City campus.

As the Foundation's signature fundraising event, Reach for the Stars raises support for student scholarships, academic programs and initiatives that help students achieve their educational and career goals.

CORE's commitment to Western Nevada College extends well beyond the gala. The company is currently serving as the construction manager for WNC's Fallon Nursing Expansion and Renovation Project, transforming the Piñon Building into a modern instructional facility with advanced simulation labs, clinical training spaces and classrooms that will expand nursing education and help address Northern Nevada's healthcare workforce shortage.
