Talk about an educational opportunity of a lifetime!

Western Nevada College students 18 and older are candidates to attend a paid educational trip to the nation's capital of Washington, D.C., for a national Climate Conference in July.

Citizens' Climate Lobby is empowering tomorrow's leaders through this conference on July 18-22. Earn a $1,200 scholarship that the Carson City chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby is providing through WNC Foundation to attend the conference.

To be considered for this great opportunity, complete an application (answer three questions and provide a resumé, if you have one) and submit it by April 15 to the Foundation Office (Bristlecone 146) or email it to foundation@wnc.edu.

Applicants will need to answer the following questions: 1. Why are you interested in attending the climate conference? 2. How does or has climate change impacted your life, family or places you care about? 3. Have you participated in any climate related activities?
