Children of all ages participated in the fundraiser for St. Jude
The annual Trike-A-Thon fundraiser, held by the Child Development Center at Western
Nevada College on Friday, March 22, brought together children of all ages to pedal
for a cause close to their hearts: supporting the remarkable work of St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer.
Amidst cheers and laughter, young participants circled the track in the CDC parking lot, their determination matched only by the unwavering support of parents and CDC staff. Together, they raised nearly $2,000.

Thanks to contributions like these, families grappling with childhood cancer find
solace in knowing they won't receive bills for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
Furthermore, such support elevates the childhood cancer survival rate from a mere
20 percent to an inspiring over 80 percent.
