Western Nevada College Foundation is thrilled to announce the seventh annual Reach for the Stars Gala, scheduled for Saturday, Aug 10, at 6 p.m. at the WNC Dini Library in Carson City. Join us for an evening where elegance intertwines with the wonders of tomorrow, and together, let's journey into the future.
Carson Tahoe Health, a key partner to WNC, is sponsoring the student speaker at this year’s gala.
“For us at Carson Tahoe Health, this gala is a testament to the power of community collaboration,” said Paula Mayer, Development Officer, Community and Foundation, Carson Tahoe Health. “Every contribution and every ticket purchased helps us advance healthcare and academic opportunities for the entire region. Together, we can create a healthier, brighter future for all.”
Making higher education available to more students is possible through fundraising events such as Reach for the Stars.
“At the heart of WNC’s mission lies the commitment to shaping a future where every dream is within reach,” said Niki Gladys, Executive Director of WNC Foundation. “As a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering academic success in Nevada, the WNC Foundation supports students through scholarships, programs and projects.”
Since 1949, Carson Tahoe Health has been dedicated to serving our community. Its mission goes beyond the hospital walls, aiming to enhance the health and well-being of those they serve. As a non-profit health system, Carson Tahoe reinvests its earnings into transforming patient care and providing resources to our community. Thanks to the community's generous support over the past 75 years, Carson Tahoe Health continues to lead in healthcare and overall wellness.
The Reach for the Stars Gala aims to provide vital resources, scholarships and opportunities to unlock the full potential of every student, regardless of their background or circumstances. By investing in WNC’s students, programs and staff, attendees will be contributing to the development of future leaders, innovators and changemakers who will shape our community.
