The community is invited to attend Western Nevada Colleges Dia de los Muertos, a traditional Mexican celebration that honors deceased loved ones and/or their heroes with an altar decorated with their pictures and favorite foods, on Thursday, Nov. 3 on the Carson City campus.
The Latino Leadership Academy is presenting the seventh annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Celebration from 12:30 to 3 p.m. in the Diversity Center on the first floor of the Joe Dini Building.
Besides the altar display and contest, sugar skull face painting, food and refreshments, games, and more are planned.
