Next Star Party at Observatory on Jan. 7

Jack C. Davis Observatory is regularly open from dusk to 11 a.m. on Saturday nights, except on holidays.
Following the Dec. 17 Star Party at Jack C. Davis Observatory on WNC’s Carson City
campus, the next celestial party won’t be until 2023.
With Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve falling on Saturday nights this year, the observatory
will be closed in observance of these holidays.
“We look forward to exploring the universe with the public in 2023 starting on Jan.
7,” said Jack C. Davis Observatory Director Dr. Thomas Herring.
