Nine employees celebrating their employment anniversaries in January have served the Nevada System of Higher Education for more than 20 years.

Dianne Hilliard and Stephanie Arrigotti continue to rank as the longest-serving NSHE employees working at Western Nevada College. Hilliard, the former Admissions and Records director and registrar who is assisting with the department on a part-time basis, has been at WNC for 36 years.

Arrigotti has actually worked for the college longer, but her official start is listed as the same as Hilliard: 1987. Arrigotti actually started at WNC in 1977 as an adjunct instructor before becoming a half-time music coordinator in 1987 and a half-time community service director a few years later. She now serves as the college’s only full-time Performing Arts instructor, as well as her duties as producer and director for the award-winning Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company.

Other long-time employees celebrating their NSHE work anniversaries this month are Julie Lewis Dewitt, 27; Kathey Brusseau, 26; Linda Jacobsen, 24; Robert “Bebop” Martinez, 24; Dr. Thomas Kubistant , 22; Darla Dodge, 22; and Susan Priest, 21.
