How to Know When Weather Impacts WNC Operations

Students have a variety of ways to learn if college operations are affected by weather conditions.
With adverse weather conditions possible this time of year, students should be aware
of the procedures that WNC administrators follow in the event of Western Nevada College
closing or delaying the start time due to inclement weather.
Campus closure notices are posted on the college home page, email messages will be
sent to staff and students, and notices are provided to all major TV, radio stations
and newspapers. Information about closures and delays in opening are also be posted
on the college's social media platforms.
