Western Nevada College Industrial Technology Professor Matthew Anderson was presented a tenure award plaque from President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe on May 25. His tenure appointment was approved by the Nevada System of Higher Education regents at their quarterly meeting on March 10 in Las Vegas. 

Anderson started at WNC in January 2018 as a teaching assistant, then became a part-time instructor in 2019 and a faculty member in August 2019. He plays a key role in training students in the college's mechatronic and manufacturing technician programs, assisting local manufacturing with their employment needs.
