Students participating in the 2026 Student Art Show have the option of selling their artwork.
Western Nevada College’s Student Art Shows on the Carson City and Fallon campuses are building toward the artist receptions this week and next.
A reception is scheduled for the final day of the Carson City show on Thursday, May 7, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Bristlecone Gallery. The Fallon reception for students artists is Thursday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Virgil Getto Hall.
The Carson City show opened April 20. The collection will include 2-D artwork (paintings, drawings, prints) and 3-D work (sculpture) from enrolled students of WNC. Students can submit work until April 17 at 4 p.m.
The Fallon campus show also opened on April 20 and will be open for viewing through May 14.
