Western Nevada College’s Bristlecone Gallery presents The 2026 Student Art Show

(Carson City, NV) The annual student art show is planned for April 20 to May 7 in the Bristlecone Gallery. The collection will include 2-D artwork (paintings, drawings, prints) and 3-D work (sculpture).
The exhibition will showcase submitted work of enrolled students of Western Nevada College. Students can submit work until April 17 at 4:00 p.m. The eligibility criteria:
- 1-3 original works in any medium.
- 2D works: must be gallery-ready with picture wire, including all framed work and paintings. Wet paintings, loose drawings, unframed photos, or other unfinished works will NOT be accepted.
- 3D works: Include any special display instructions.
- Artwork should be recent and not previously shown at WNC Galleries.
- Each work submitted must be labeled with completed entry form. The forms are located in the Bristlecone Art Gallery, the Information Desk, or through Francine Burge at m.burge@wnc.edu.
“This exhibition celebrates the creativity of WNC students each year and the many hours of focus, problem-solving, and dedication behind each piece,” said Rachel Stiff, Professor of Fine Art.
The final day of the show a reception will be held in the Gallery, Thursday May 7, 5 - 6:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served.
The gallery is free and open to the public, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Located in the Bristlecone Building on the Carson City Campus, 2201 West College Parkway, Carson City.
