It’s one of more popular art exhibitions of the year at Western Nevada College. The 2024 Student Art Show is coming to Bristlecone Art Gallery on the Carson City campus April 22 through May 9.

The show will feature art created by students enrolled in classes from Fall 2023 through Spring 2024. Students’ artwork will include drawings, paints, printmaking, digital media, photography, graphic art, ceramics, sculpture, book art and mixed media.

Students who participated in the exhibit included Marisa Saenz, Noel Mesa, Jessica Mendoza Jaramillo, Susan Paigen, Toby Sparrow, Samantha Casillas, Gina Vecchio, Sandi Helliwell, Aaron Kikuchi, Sara Sykes, Karyn Knecht, Pedro Madera, Shilo Cyphers, Lucinda Lundin, Jovon Sotak, Ellie Vaughan, Matthew Beam, Ibis Hood, Shelbie Nail, Damian Contreras, Gracie Magney, Madeline Wilson, Amy Rivinius, Kenneth Larson, Will Acuavera, MJ Vinson, Analisa Bates, Kaitlyn Insell, Suzanne Pierce, Kennadee Irving and Kevin Edmonds.

A reception for the artists is scheduled for May 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Bristlecone Art Gallery.

Artists will have the option to sell their work. Artwork not for sale will be indicated by NFS (not for sale), while a price will be listed with pieces for sale. Buyers can directly contact the artist with the information provided.
