Okta Verify (WNC STAFF ONLY)
As part of a system-wide effort to enhance security, Okta will discontinue support for SMS and Voice Multifactor Authentication (MFA) on June 30, 2025. These methods, which include text message and phone call codes used during login to Workday and other Okta-authenticated applications, will no longer be available. To ensure uninterrupted access to Workday and other applications, we strongly encourage all users to switch to Okta Verify now. You have two options to choose from on how to setup your Mobile App. You can perform the registration process for your phone's mobile app using a computer or directly from your mobile device.
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and streamline authentication processes, Okta will be transitioning away from SMS and voice-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods. Starting June 30 2025, all users will need to use Okta Verify as their primary MFA method.
What is Okta Verify?
Okta Verify is a secure and convenient mobile application that allows you to approve
authentication requests with a single tap or via a unique code. This transition will
help us improve security against phishing and other cyber threats targeting less secure
MFA methods like SMS and voice.
What Do You Need to Do?
To prepare for this transition:
- Download Okta Verify
