Several young bucks have already learned where one of the luscious places in Carson City is: Western Nevada College.
Three deer visited the campus in early June to feed on leaves and other goodies between the lower parking lot and the Bristlecone Building.
WNC is known for attracting wildlife to its campus. Lizards, snakes, squirrels, chipmunks, jack rabbits, owls, birds, coyotes, bobcats, bears, hawks and mountain lions have been spotted on campus at one time or another. Lizards, crows and jack rabbits are some of the most common visitors.

The deer made their exit from campus the way most do from the parking lot.
