In addition to the outstanding work they have been doing for Western Nevada College, four Student Services employees have earned certifications to not only improve their own credentials but to better the WNC community.
In the Financial Aid area, congratulations to Ambra Reed, Temple Campana and Jessica OBrien for earning new certifications:
Ambra Reed: successfully earned two additional certifications from National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) in the areas of Student Eligibility and in Professional Judgment. Her certifications were earned after completing the required training and passing a certification test. Ambra is already NASFAA certified in Verification (earned in 2019).
Temple Campana: successfully became certified by NASFAA in Satisfactory Academic Progress. Her certification was earned after completing the required training and passing a certification test.
Jessica OBrien: successfully completed Veterans Administration certificates in 2020 for the 85/15 Rule, IHL programs, Section 107 Re-certification Completion, Compliance Surveys, VA Once for IHL-I and IHL with NCD.
In the Disabled Student Services, congratulations to Susan Trist for her recently earned certification:
