The Child Development Center at Western Nevada College presented its annual Pumpkin Parade on Thursday morning, holding the celebration in the parking lot fronting its building. Children paraded around Candy Land in their costumes to receive treats, some of which required fishing and tossing skills. There were plenty of princesses, dinosaurs, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Count Dracula and even a youngster dressed up as a donut. Many Western Nevada College staff members dressed up in their Halloween finest and handed out candy to the children.
