Western Nevada College students, faculty and staff are invited to watch cult classic movie The Princess Bride at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 in Marlette Hall (Room 100 in the Cedar Building) of the Carson City campus.
The 1987 fantasy adventure film is being presented by the Nerd Herd, WNCs homeschool club. Peter Falk plays a grandfather that narrates a compelling story to sick grandson Fred Savage. The adventure story follows a farmhands pursuit to rescue Princess Buttercup from repulsive Prince Humperdinck.
