Leave it to Broadway Rising! to bring Christmas spirit to the college community and beyond.
The virtual choir created by Western Nevada College and the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company has released We Need A Little Christmas ahead of the holidays: https://vimeo.com/658235244. The song from Jerry Hermans Broadway musical Mame was first performed by Angela Lansbury 55 years ago.
Dressing in their finest Christmas attire, the ensemble of Benny Buchanan, Julia Curtis, Alexis Hope Fuentes, Steven Meyer, Ethne Myler, Cindy Sabatini, Ethan Spier and Briana Valley energetically sing the popular Christmas song. The video also contains old-school animation that will take viewers back to Christmases from theirchildhoods.
The videos production crew includes Judy Monson, music director; John Shipley, recording engineer; Tara Burke, graphic artist and video editor; and Stephanie Arrigotti, producer.
