College and Career Readiness
For many of our students, improving their basic literacy skills is just the beginning. WNC's College & Career Readiness program focuses on helping students access postsecondary training, explore job opportunities, and fill high-demand positions. Our goal is to help students transition into jobs that offer both a solid career path and a family-sustaining wage. Education Services
College Career and Readiness offers a noncredit English Language Learning (ELL) program at Western Nevada College is designed as a series of courses, ranging from Low-Beginning through Advanced levels of English proficiency.
Whether students last attended school recently or many years ago, this program offers free classes to help them earn a high school equivalency credential.
Career & Employer Services
Career services at WNC will provide personalized career counseling, job search support, and professional development resources to help students and alumni achieve their career goals.
Employer services can connect businesses with talented students and alumni through job postings, career fairs, and networking events.
