Scholarship Applications for the 2017-2018 Academic Year are now being accepted

The application deadline is March 24, 2017. Submit this form only once per academic year. All applicants who meet the general eligibility requirements (minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA) will be considered for all scholarships.

Transcripts are required for all scholarship applications from new and transferring students and must be received no later than March 5, 2017.

WNC's Scholarship Committee will select scholarship recipients based on the quality of the personal statement and applicants' eligibility according to individual scholarship donors' specific requirements.

About Your Personal Statement

Do not include personally identifying information in your statement. Personally identifiable information includes your name, address, date of birth and NSHE ID. Personal statements are scored anonymously in order to eliminate bias.

Your personal statement must be between 250 and 500 words. Get tips for writing a personal statement.

Remember, your personal statement is your opportunity to share with the Scholarship Committee who you are and why you should be chosen to receive scholarship funds for your education.
